Make the right pieces belong together.

You may need a new identity, a considered refinement or useful applications of an existing system. The project starts with what you already have and where it needs to go.

A new visual identity

Develop the logo treatment, color palette and typography for a defined business or project. Review the direction in the applications you need, then agree the final asset set.

Refine an existing identity

Keep what people recognize while resolving inconsistent logo use, typography, colors or layouts. Work from your existing source files and guidelines where available.

Apply the identity

Create coordinated web graphics, logo variants and reusable templates for agreed formats. A focused set of applications can stand on its own.

One identity, across different uses.

Codorus brings its logo, carbon/mineral/cobalt palette and typography into a website, editable graphics and a finished motion signature.

This independent studio project shows how an identity can stay recognizable across static and moving work. The files, templates and guidance are part of the design.

Review the direction before the full set.

  1. Agree what the identity needs to do

Start with your audience, existing assets and the places the identity will appear. Agree the concepts, applications, revision rounds and delivery formats in the proposal.

  2. Choose a direction in context

Review the visual direction with real words and useful applications. Refine the chosen direction before extending it across the agreed pieces.

  3. Receive the assets and their guidance

Get the agreed logo files, color and type guidance, application assets and editable templates, with font and image license information and instructions for using them.

A few useful details.

What should I bring?

Share what the business does, who it serves, the applications you need and any existing logo, fonts or guidelines. References help when you can explain what you like about them. Let Joey know your timing and budget constraints.

Which files and templates will I receive?

The proposal names the deliverables and editable formats. Logo files, print or screen exports, guidelines and templates depend on your use. Font, image and other third-party licenses are identified; some may need to be held in your own account.

Does this include naming or brand strategy?

These projects focus on a bounded visual identity and its applications. Naming, trademark work and extensive brand-strategy engagements are outside this service.

Can the identity be part of a website or motion project?

Yes. Web design and development and motion graphics can be scoped together with identity work. You can also commission the identity or applications on their own.
